LILITH | LUCIFER'S TEARS

Former prima ballerina, Lilith Doret, fell from her prestigious position when she, in an argument with her mother, was struck across the eyes by the other woman's fan and ended up losing her eyesight. Fleeing from the hospital, where she was admitted for months, to save her twin brother and her mother the pain of what she felt was a useless existence, she ran from Paris and became a sex worker in another city to feed herself. Now that she has become increasingly more ill, she has returned to Paris in the vain hope of being reunited and reconciled with her family before she dies.
